What People's Say About Place

Located in the "Heart" of Alice, Texas. The food here is perfect every time! From beef to chicken plates and drink specials, they are some of the best in town. Child's plate is perfect! There's a party area on one side of the restaurant. Mariachi Amanecer Azul is the "Resident" Mariachi Group playing on Friday nights 7pm-9pm and Sundays 12pm-2pm. Feel the passionate music performed by local youth musicians. Taqueria Jalisco continues to showcase and support the local youth's talent.

We decided to go here for lunch as we have driven by it numerous times and see that it's always packed. We are very glad we did! There is parking on both sides of the restaurant along with a drive thru for to go orders. The food was amazing and very flavorful. We had the mini tacos with beef and chicken fajita and the #5 pompano chicken breast. The tortillas that come with them seem to be house made and are fresh and soft. The meat in the mini tacos was not overcooked and had a lot of flavor to them. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. We had a margarita and it was very good as well. It didn't seem to be watered down like most places do. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and very attentive. The only thing we didn't like was being charged for a to go box. That seemed to be a bit excessive. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back. A gem of a restaurant in Texas.

The food was so delicious and the tortillas de arina are homemade and chips are homemade too and the waitress are so nice and polite good service I do recommend

Good olé' reliable Jalisco's. Good food at a great price. I really do not know how they can keep up these high standards and low prices in this economy, but I am not complaining. You just keep doing what you are doing Jalisco's, and you will always have me as a customer.

The mini barbacoa tacos are delicious! They taste great with lime squeezed over them with the cilantro & caramelized onions. This is my favorite order thus far, accompanied by a strawberry margarita. The staff is kind & make sure your order is correct.

Service is immaculate. I got the carne guisada and it was good, but it could use a but more spicy seasoning. My boyfriend got the molcajete he said “its good and a lot of food”.

It was my first time there and the fajita tacos where amazing I loved them. If I ever go back to Alice, TX I will definitely go again. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is really nice. Next time I go I will be getting a desert for sure.

The food is good and the service is good. One of the better Mexican food Restaurants in the area.
